SoCal Fence Supply

Terms of Sale

Effective 2026-09-08

These terms apply when you request a quote or place an order with Quickscreen America, Inc. DBA So Cal Fence Supply ("we", "us") through our online tools.

1. Quotes and estimates

Quotes are for materials only, at list prices current on the date shown. They exclude sales tax, delivery, concrete, tools and labour unless stated.

A quote is an estimate, not an offer. Quantities come from the measurements and answers you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy of your measurements. We will confirm the details with you before an order is final.

Quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices can change with our suppliers'.

We may correct any obvious error in a quote or an order - a pricing mistake, a mis-stated quantity - at any time before it ships, including after you have confirmed. If a correction changes your total we will tell you and you may cancel.

2. Orders and confirmation

Submitting an order through our order form is a request to buy. A contract forms only when we accept it - by issuing an invoice or shipping.

When you confirm an order you are telling us the items and quantities are what you want. We record the exact list shown to you at that moment, together with the date, time and your confirmation.

3. Electronic signature

Confirming an order electronically - by ticking the confirmation box and typing your name, or by drawing your signature - has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under the California Uniform Electronic Transactions Act and the federal E-SIGN Act.

You agree to transact electronically and that our records of your confirmation are admissible evidence of it. You confirm you are authorised to place the order for yourself or the business you name.

4. Payment

Orders are invoiced. We do not take payment through these tools and never ask for card details in them. Payment terms are on your invoice.

5. Delivery, shortages and damage

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Inspect your materials on arrival. Report shortages, damage or the wrong items within 5 business days - after that we cannot verify what arrived in what condition.

6. Materials are supplied for self-installation

We supply materials. We do not install, and we are not responsible for installation.

Materials ship in standard lengths, which you trim on site. Cutting posts and slats to your finished height is your responsibility, and we say so on the quote.

You are responsible for permits, property lines, setbacks, HOA approval, utility locates before digging, and any local code - including height limits and, where it applies, defensible-space requirements. A quote from us is not a statement that your project complies with anything.

7. Installer referrals

If you ask for an installation quote we pass your project to a certified QuickScreen installer. Installers are independent businesses, not our agents. We do not employ, supervise or guarantee their work, and any contract for installation is between you and them.

8. Returns

Unused, uncut, undamaged stock materials in original packaging may be returned within 30 days with a return authorisation from us. Cut, drilled, altered or special-order materials cannot be returned. A restocking fee may apply.

9. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties pass through to you. QuickScreen aluminium carries the manufacturer's warranty as published by them.

We give no warranty of our own beyond the manufacturer's, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act that cannot be waived.

Warranties do not cover damage from installation, alteration, misuse, accident, or normal weathering of finishes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to materials or these terms will not exceed what you paid for the materials the claim concerns, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost time, labour costs, or the cost of removing and reinstalling materials.

11. Governing law

California law governs, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Ventura County, California.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
